Mission Opportunities Coming Up!

I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.  I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
(1 Corinthians 9:22-23)

This passage has made a deep impact on me over the years.  The Holy Spirit inspired the apostle Paul to put this personal note about his life on the pages of Scripture so that we have an example to follow.  Paul wasn't perfect.  Neither am I.  Yet, we serve the One who is.  His gospel, i.e., good news, is all about His perfect life, His perfect sacrifice, His perfect victory over sin and death through His resurrection from the dead.

There are great blessings in knowing what Jesus has perfectly done for us.  Can you think of what some of those are?  I'll name a few: peace, hope, real love, positive change and significant purpose.  Jesus wants us to share these blessings as we serve others!

Here's a couple of opportunities coming up for you to become all things to all people and be a part of God's plan for saving people.  See the details below and then e-mail me at chris.johnson@stmarkdepere.com to let me know for which one you would like to sign up.  Sign up deadline is Monday, April 20.

Please note that Projects 1 and 2 are on the same day at the same time.  Sign-up for one or the other.

Why a Video Venue?

What are some of the reasons for using a “Video Venue” for Worship Services?

Video Venue preaching is cost effective. As you know, we are looking forward to expand our ministries and reach more people in the Green Bay area by offering another worship service (starting September 13th at 10 am)
. In order to get this done, we will need to rent or lease a facility that has large seating capacity and video projection capability.  This will be the largest expense of this effort.

But wait! Our Green Bay site affords us all that we need to offer this new service!  It doesn't take too much time or money to launch a video venue when we already own it!

However, we need to enhance the sound and video systems to accommodate this expansion.

Stay tuned because I’ll be sharing ways that you can help directly with this upgrade in the near future. In the meantime, please pray for our efforts to expand His Kingdom in the Green Bay area.

Got Questions? We have answers.

"Does suffering discredit God?"

"Does science disprove faith?"

"How do you know the resurrection is real?"

These are just a few of the questions I run into from the people I meet. Maybe you have similar questions. Maybe the people you know have stumped you with similar questions. Honestly, I worry about what to say when religion comes into the conversation. Let's tackle these questions together, so we can be more confident in our faith.

Join us on Easter Weekend as we start a new series covering life's big questions.
