(1 Corinthians 9:22-23)
This passage has made a deep impact on me over the years. The Holy Spirit inspired the apostle Paul to put this personal note about his life on the pages of Scripture so that we have an example to follow. Paul wasn't perfect. Neither am I. Yet, we serve the One who is. His gospel, i.e., good news, is all about His perfect life, His perfect sacrifice, His perfect victory over sin and death through His resurrection from the dead.
There are great blessings in knowing what Jesus has perfectly done for us. Can you think of what some of those are? I'll name a few: peace, hope, real love, positive change and significant purpose. Jesus wants us to share these blessings as we serve others!
Here's a couple of opportunities coming up for you to become all things to all people and be a part of God's plan for saving people. See the details below and then e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org to let me know for which one you would like to sign up. Sign up deadline is Monday, April 20.
Please note that Projects 1 and 2 are on the same day at the same time. Sign-up for one or the other.
